What can a PEO do for Your Business?Via an agreement and statutory regulations, a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and your business enter into a co-employer relationship. The PEO is then recognized as the employer-of-record for payroll tax liability, workers' compensation, employment law compliance and employee benefit program administration. You, the work-site or client employer, are the employer for purposes of employee supervision and OSHA/Cal-OSHA compliance.
